Workshops and Retreats
Looking forward to our Gathering at the Studio between Classes on Thursday 18th December to Celebrate each other, our first year as Yoga Ocean and the Sacred Season of Solstice, Christmas and the New Year.
It is going to be such a fun collaboration with Lisa and Simon who manage the Devonport Farmer’s Market and have offered the amazing spaces at the Showgrounds for a Community Summer Solstice Celebration!
SOLSTICE GLOW
will commence at 6 am so rock up a few minutes early if you are new to Yoga Ocean Events so we can do paperwork and get sorted with Yoga gear for the day.
We will get grounded on Mother Earth with firepots blazing for Sunrise OM Chanting, then, weather-dependent, practise a gentle Flow Yoga including the Surya Namaskar … Sun Salutations honouring the nurturing, life-giving qualities and sentience of the Sun.
Breathwork with lots of comfy supports and an invigorating Breath Flow to assist our Heart Opening to the Abundance that the seasonal shifts offer, acknowledging with Ritual and Shamanic Awareness the cyclical nature and rhythms of our body connected in the Cosmic Grand Cycle.
Choice to stay around the fire with Chai and Bliss Balls or a short dash to Bluff Beach for rejuvenating immersion in Salt Mother and back to warm at the fires with refreshments and yarns.
